These guides take you from a clean machine to a running, integrated Blue Dots deployment.
Installation
Section titled “Installation”Two separate tracks:
- Local Setup — run a DPG on your own machine: Prerequisites, Local Stack (Docker), Signals DPG Setup, Aggregator DPG Setup.
- Cloud Setup — deploy a real instance: AWS Infrastructure Setup, AWS Deployment.
Activate a district
Section titled “Activate a district”- Activating Blue Dots in a District — the institutional and operational model.
- Adaptor Onboarding — the end-to-end path for a new adaptor.
Configure & extend
Section titled “Configure & extend”- Keycloak Setup — realm import, admin user, registering an integrating DPG.
- Configuration — env vars, config-as-code, per-network schema folders.
- Adding a new dot — set up a new network, such as the Yellow Dot (education) network: schemas, domains, brand and consent.
- Customisation & Branding — branding, dashboards and a landing page, without forking the DPGs.
